This is really just an exercise in rendering in Modo and compositing workflows in Nuke.
I created a single tiling textures in Quixel Mixer for the main surface of the Mobius wheel. All other materials were created in Modo procedurally.
Modeling, simple rig, animation, lighting and animation were all done in Modo. Two of the camera angles were rendered with Modo's native Preview Renderer (full frame on, but full quality disabled) with render times limited to 5 minutes per frame.
The final composite with motion blur, depth of field, and a quick camera track for the love action segment were all done in Nuke. The final edit with Sound FX was done in Final Cut Pro X.

Real time set up of simple rig in Modo. I first saw the rig idea by William Vaugh over at PixelFondu.
